I've Gone Blogger Draft Mode

Afternoon everyone,
I've changed over to Blogger Draft mode as of today. What does it mean for you? Mostly it means you will see a difference in how posting to comments works. It is EASIER now! I hope more of you will comment and get involved. It isn't a lot of fun to have a one sided conversation with me, myself and I.


If you are a blogger, it is so much easier to use and control your blog posts. The WYSIWYG is much improved over the older version. I don't know why I didn't try it before now. I could kick myself. And for anyone using Google Adsense, it is so much easier to embed the search bar and have it fit your columns corrrectly. So the look of the blog may be a little more pleasing.

Adding graphics is better. You can play with the size to see what fits best without deleting and uploading again. That saves time. Preview of your post is now pop up and that is refreshing that your original post just stays on your screen in the background.

Speaking of background, you can now add color to your background or use it to highlight.

I like the dashboard a lot more too. Don't forget to check off to make it your default dashboard at the top if you are going to keep the draft mode. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Need Super Silly Tees??~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Update!!!SPECIAL EMERGENCY PRAYER request!!!!!

I've received a call that the baby did well today. THANK YOU MY FAITHFUL PRAYER WARRIORS! Grady is off the ventilator too. I have a great friend who is a respiratory therapist and she said she was sure he was given "surfactant" and that generally, all is well fairly soon in the grand scheme of things. She said that without it, each breath is like the first breath of life and very hard. The surfactant allows the lungs to remain open and expanded so that he can breathe. She said he will likely have no real problems with the exception of RSV (a respiratory rhino virus carried by children). She said even without seeing the baby that she felt sure he would be okay knowing who was taking care of him and her experience (27 yrs).



Does anyone have prayer chains? Could you send some emails or make some phone calls? I know that God is holding this baby, but please help Him know we are all in agreement that this baby needs all the love and prayers he can get.

Please say prayers for Grady S. (18 hours old) born with under-developed lungs. Mom had a section and is really sad she can't be with him since he was transported to a much larger hospital just about 2 hours ago. Pray for the whole family but especially the baby. His daddy is staying with the baby in another city while the grandmother stays with her daughter. My daughter is providing relief for the grandmother so the mom doesn't have to be alone. Since she had a section, she is going to be a couple of days in the hospital.

Unfortunately, the doc made a really bad call and delivered the baby early for no apparent reason. Mom nor baby were at any risk. Baby Grady was 7 lbs 13 oz and 21 inches long. He was delivered 4 weeks early based on size only. The doc did NOT do an amnio test. Grady's mom and my daughter have been best friends for 10 years. My daughter called to tell me and she said it was horrible watching that helpless baby struggle to breathe or cry when he could not do either on his own.

My daughter was with her best friend all day yesterday. Her friend called her at 3 am this morning and she rushed back to the hospital to be with her as they prepared to move the baby to a larger facility. DD said she saw Grady before they moved him and prayed for him. Everyone is so devastated that this has happened. Everyone is exhausted. Please pray for their safety and clear mind to make wise decisions.

Co-Branded Coupons and Other P&G Coupons Info

Co-branded coupons are those which are for a particular product. They have all the usual information printed on them. In addition to that, they are usually printed with a header or border somewhere that is for a particular retailer like CVS or Publix.

I read on AFullCup forum just now that someone had written to Proctor and Gamble to ask them if they were redeemable at any retailer. Here is the response she received:

Hi xxxxx,

I'm sorry for any confusion. If the P&G brand coupon says "manufacturer coupon" on it, it can be redeemed at ANY store that accepts our coupons regardless of the store name that is printed on the coupon. Keep in mind, though, that we can't force a store to take our coupons.

In addition, it may be helpful to know that P&G doesn't offer manufacturer coupons that can be down loaded from the Internet and printed at home. I hope this information is helpful.

Oh the NERVE!!!!!!! Bad Cashier!!!!

Last Saturday we went to Walmart to pick up a few things. One of them was a thermometer, other items included bottled drinks, yogurt and who knows what else. We got in line and the cashier seemed plesant enough but her bagging skills were completely lacking.

She pulled the bags open and DROPPED the items in the bag as though she was allergic to each item. She over-filled each of the bags that had heavy items. The last item was a birthday card. It was a very pretty card w/ a little glitter. I had it turned with the back to the top on top of the envelope with the flap over it but the price was visible. She opened it up and inspected it like I had a chicken stuffed in it and waved it around, again as if she was allergic to it.

So, it got me to thinking. Have you had a bad cashier experience? If so, tell your story and share what happened with the rest of us.
