Attention Target Shoppers Update
Hi Targeteers and other readers....
As you know by now, AttentionTargetShoppers.com was slammed with a nasty virus by a hacker. I lost my login page since it was redirected to Estonia. I had been fighting the porn spammers in two different areas and thought I had them shut down. Well, seems someone got ugly and shut me down.
I have Connie at SignatureWorx.com scrubbing the files, doing backups and reinstalls. She fought with the files all day on Thursday. She thinks she has the greater portion of it reinstalled and virus free so far.
She had more work to do and so do I so I told her to just keep ATS in maintenance mode until we had it where you as readers could sort of find your way around. I'll post here, on Facebook and on Twitter as well as email all the bloggers who helped me get the word out as soon as we have it ready to use.
I was near to a nervous breakdown yesterday. I was really shocked at how I reacted. I spent a while today discerning what made me go crazy. I talked to my husband about it and it boils down to this....
I made something from scratch --- completely from scratch and then someone destroyed it for no other reason than they could. I can never compare my little creation to what God did when He created the world but I think I know how His heart breaks now when the human race messes up His creation and the gifts He gave us. I tried very hard to understand what the lesson was from all of this and that is the best that I can explain it. The blog was my child like we are God's children and someone destoryed my baby. I was in mourning, shock, disbelief, angered, sad, sickened that 2 years of work was destroyed while I was sleeping.
Then I had to be calm, cool and collected if I wanted to continue to help others just like God. I had to show restraint. I had to ask for help from Him and from others. I was humbled to do that because I prided myself in building my blog totally alone.
For all that has happened, I did get a lot of good from it. I think I grew as a person and I think I grew as a friend to other bloggers. I've always felt humbled by my readers. I've learned I can ask for help and not feel like a failure. Lesson learned. I hope my lesson helps all of you.
Now, let's all pull together to get our coupon boxes filled and save a ton of money. Thanks for your patience while I "learned my lesson" and got some help to rebuild the blog. It's hard giving your baby away to another mom to tend to but, I was glad that Connie was there and available. Thanks so much to everyone.
